The retail division organizational chart is composed of a Vice-President, Sales Director, Key Account Manager, Supervisors of Merchandisers, Sales Representatives and Sales Merchandisers. One of Matosantos strengths is the full marketing support it provides to its customers in the different territories and countries.
The sales team at Matosantos Commercial is dedicated, motivated and committed to achieve results. This group of individuals is constantly trained and monitored to insure that they receive the support needed to achieve their objectives.
This group is responsible for all orders, from the time they are placed until the customer receives the merchandise.
The Purchasing Department has the most advanced tools available to coordinate purchases and traffic, insuring customers receive efficient service.
The purchasing function at Matosantos Commercial is fully computerized. Orders are prepared automatically by computer, taking into consideration the product's sales history and projected sales, inventory on hand, in transit, supplier's lead times and traffic logistics. Purchasing personnel verifies orders, negotiates pricing and keeps track of the status of every order to insure its timely arrival.
Matosantos sales representatives visit over ten Caribbean territories every four to eight weeks to cover supermarkets, cash and carry's and wholesalers within the territories. The brands supported with in-store promotion and merchandising activities.

The instant online telephone communication at the end of each sales calls allows supervisors to be instantly aware of competitive information and any special event or situation that may occur at store level.
